This next month I will be working on my Iowa State Fair entries, one of which will be the Pascal cake I said I was going to make earlier, but never did. For my stacked cake entry I'm thinking of doing an extreme leaning cake that defies gravity. I don't have all of the cakes figured out yet, but they will be pretty awesome, so stay tuned....
So first off, here is a picture of my new style of cake samples. The flavors starting left and moving clockwise were: German Chocolate with raspberry, chocolate ganache, and buttercream; Vanilla with raspberry, chocolate ganache, and buttercream; and Chocolate Mahogany with raspberry, chocolate ganache, and buttercream. These were only the requested flavors, but any of my flavors can be tested during a tasting.
